SAN DIEGO, Calif.— May 1, 2014 – ACTIVE Network ®, the leader in cloud-based Activity and Participant Management™ solutions, today announced its third year powering the Share the Experience photo contest on behalf of the National Park Foundation, the National Park Service and other participating federal agencies. The annual contest is designed to highlight the best of America's federal recreation lands, national parks and historical sites and draws in 14,000+ submissions each year. The 2013 photo contest winners were announced today and their photos are available for viewing at http://www.nationalparks.org/photowinners.

Share the Experience is the official photo contest of America’s national parks and federal recreation lands. The 2014 contest is sponsored by the National Park Foundation, ACTIVE Network and Celestron in partnership with the National Park Service, the Bureau of Land Management, the Bureau of Reclamation, the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, and the U.S. Forest Service. More than $25,000 in cash and prizes are awarded to winning images captured by amateur photographers. Categories include adventure, wildlife, scenic, night skies and more.
